VoIP Solutions

What do we need to use VoIP?

In order to establish VoIP communication, you must have access to the Internet. Than you can use VoIP at home and in the office… or you can make VoIP your business...

Home solutions:

To use VoIP you have the following options:

PC + internet connection + microphone/headset

So, you can make:

PC-to-PC free calls and free conference calls.

This is the easiest way to use VoIP and you don't even have to pay for long-distance calls. Except for your normal monthly ISP fee, there is usually no charge for computer-to-computer calls, no matter the distance.

PC-to-Phone cheap calls

This service allows you to call every phone subscriber worldwide (mobile or regular phones), usually for certain rate per minute, which is much lower than the conventional rates. (You can get more information about our rates)

IP Adapter + Standard phone + internet connection

The simplest and most common way is through the use of a device called an ATA (analog telephone adaptor). The ATA allows you to connect a standard phone to your computer or your Internet connection for use with VoIP. The ATA is an analog-to-digital converter. It takes the analog signal from your traditional phone and converts it into digital data for transmission over the Internet.

IP Phone + internet connection

These specialized phones look just like normal phones with a handset, cradle and buttons. But instead of having the standard RJ-11 phone connectors, IP phones have an RJ-45 Ethernet connector. IP phones connect directly to your router and have all the hardware and software necessary right onboard to handle the IP call. Wi-Fi phones allow subscribing callers to make VoIP calls from any Wi-Fi hot spot.

Business solutions:

GSM gateway

GSM Gateway is a device with in-built SIM cards of any mobile operator. The number of in-built SIM cards varies according to the capacity and features of the different devices, and one device can work simultaneously with SIM cards of different mobile operators.

GSM Gateway connects to the telephone exchange (for example in the office) in this way calls from fixed telephone exchange pass through the SIM cards in the device, which leads to significant reduction (60-70%) of call costs to mobile operators. That is to say the customer realizes a call from fixed network to mobile network but actually the call is charged as mobile to mobile call.

Advantages for your business:

  • Significantly reduces call costs (60% - 70%) to mobile networks.
  • Fast payback
  • Even cheaper rates for calls between mobile subscribers, organized in group (based on the offered by mobile operators free services or promotional call rates between subscribers within a group).
  • Call diverting taking in mind the cheapest rate.
  • Gives possibility to connect to input lines of the office telephone exchange thus the employees or customers of the company save a lot, because they do not call anymore using BTC phone number but the GSM number, which has SIM card in the group and is connected as GSM Gateway incoming line of you office exchange.

VoIP Router

A VoIP Router enables standard phones to be used for voice calls over the Internet. A VoIP router allows you to make free phone calls over your existing internet connection, and standard calls over the telephone network.

Most of these routers have QoS (Quality of Service) which means that your VoIP call remains uninterrupted, regardless of how busy the network may be.

VoIP routers are also an ideal solution for businesses who operate from multiple locations, be they abroad or local. With a VoIP router at each end you will no longer have to pay for calls because they are transferred over your existing broadband connection.
